I recently bought a game and its dlc content included with the bundle isnt unlocked in game

Hello I recently bought Killer Instinct Definitive Edition but I forgot my windows microsoft account isn't the same as the one linked to my xbox account. Funny story, 5 years ago I tried moving my xbox account to my current windows account but it just
made a whole new xbox account. Anyways, I bought the game on my windows account and tried loading in and it wasnt showing. So first thing I tried was swapping all the emails around to finally have my xbox account on my main email (the current windows email).
Tried loading, and still nothing. The dlc is showing as installed but im thinking maybe the dlc is tied to the unwanted xbox account that was on my windows email. I have no problem buying the game again even though I would really rather not, but thats not
an option. Any leads on how to fix this would be a big help.

Unfortunately, your theory is correct. From my own experience, certain games have DLC that are tied only to the account you purchased them on. Even on my console set as "Home" console, I had a similar problem with Forza Horizon 2, where my VIP status and
DLC cars were not available on my main Xbox account, but if I played with the account I bought the game and expansions on, I could use them properly. That's when I made the switch to playing with the other account, leaving my old main account pretty much unused.
Certain games, however, like Forza Horizon 4, allow you to share your downloadable content even with other users.

So I had this happen with Minecraft. I bought DLCs and they never appeared. If thats the issues your having you will need to log onto there website and find your purchase history. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/?SilentAuth=1&wa=wsignin1.0 once
you do that you will need to either have the product number written down or easily accessible to read it to the people at the help desk. Should be an easy and quick fix.

The Bundle Bonus DLC is all the extra content from the special versions of the game like the Lost Expeditions and the Collectors editions. Thats why its unlocked content and not downloadable content

Not heard anything to suggest the game will get some DLC but as it was such a big hit its still possible

i think its because it was bundled in the GOTY. everything is included in the game. all dlc and extras. so u might have bought two map packs that are already on disc.
