I received the following error when I tried to watch a XBOX movie rental, Ford v Ferrari...

Im having the same issue. Hosting a movie night to watch ford v ferrari with a group of mates and i have the same codes. Tried restarting the xbox but same code appears.

For Starters, You only have the movie rental for 24 hours on Xbox Live & not Two Weeks..

Secondly, I see no point in having the movie rentals done by a 24 Hour limit..

They should have a set number of views per movie rental, when rented & if you don't use them within a few days, they expire... NOT give you 24 Hours before expiry & if your time to expiry is below the movie length...It cuts you off from watching the movie
& gives you a Viewing Licence Expiry Error etc...

It's my Prerogative, to watch the movie rental, whenever I please, within the 24 Hour Period too.. I was a bit annoyed about it, but I just wanted to watch the movie for a second time, thinking I had enough time to expiry & it cut out on me etc..

Lucky, I didn't have screaming kids, wanting to watch The Adventures of Tin Tin Movie & the movie cut out..

This was a movie rental on your console, correct? Did you receive that error code when trying to stream it or when trying to download and play it?



Is there an error message also associated with that error code? Let us know when you can, please!

I tried playing the movie again this morning, and it worked. No further updates were downloaded.

However, the fact that this error has occurred two rentals in a row, and has required a wait of a day each time, has made me afraid of making future rentals. I would like an assurance that this has been or will be resolved. Otherwise, I'll be switching over
to my Amazon Fire TV for movie rentals.
