I received a warthog code from as a gift. Am I allowed to install it

i own forza horizon 3 ultimate edition. I revived a free code for the warthog car in gamefaqs message board. The code worked and was actived When I entered it in the redeem code area on my Xbox app. I even called customer support to confirm it was avtivated
and not in violation of any Xbox policry for having the code and the way I got it For free from someone who didn't want their code and was nice to give it out. Xbox support told me I was fine and the code is oK.

The dlc warthog is in my ready to install.

1. Am I allowed to instalol it

2. Is it ok that I don't own and with my new gametag never played halo 5 or halo mcc

i appreciate the free code but want 100% confirm I'm allowed have andh use this code without ever owning halo 5 and halo mcc tied into the account my Xbox has for Xbox live and the few games I own I don't want to be in any violations for having this free
content given to me by someone who didn't want to us it for themselve

i also asked on the forza.net forom and called Xbox support to cover all my nerves so I'm not in trouble for having this great dlc warthog code I was givin as a gift

if im not able to or should not have this dlc warthog code I assume just leave it in ready to install never to be do so I don't get in trouble or let me know who to proply call to have the warthog dlc taken off my Xbox and I go one with not worrying

im sorry I'm asking so many times to confirm. Maybe it's ok and I'm aloud to enjoy this warthog car in forza even though I don't own halo 5 or halo mcc

Forza Horizon 3 - Halo Warthog

Hey I received a code when I preordered the ultimate edition, I redeemed the code but the warthog never appeared in ready to install or in the gift car section of the game. Would it be possible to send out another code to me? i still have the message in
my messages that I was rewarded a code but I still have no warthog. Hopefully I will see a new code here soon.

Mister Beep, I never received a warthog code either. I have the Halo Master Chief Collection. No messages, no gifts. Thoughts?

I think The forza forums I think answered my question. Saying I'm good as long as the code works it's mine to use and enjoy people have been giving them out all the time.

 

When you receive a code via Xbox Live , that code is yours to do whatever with. You can use it on your account or pass it along to a friend as well. It looks like someone received a code they didn't need and they gifted it to you.

So in short, of course it's okay to install it and play with it. Enjoy!
