I put Duracell rechargeable AA batteries in my Xbox controller. Why won't they recharge...

Rechargeable batteries are the way to go like those posted above me. I use duracell AA rechargeable batteries for my controllers and AAA Duracell batteries for my wireless headset. When they go flat I just put them on charge and put a backup pair in.

What do you mean by "original wireless controllers with original rechargeable batteries"?

The Xbox 360 controller will accept a battery pack if it's able to clip on the back like the empty packs that take 2x AA batteries.

If you are planning on buying new rechargeable batteries, I recommend rechargeable AA batteries, like ones made by Duracell, Energizer, or such. Get high power rating like 2400mAh for the longest lasting amount of power. I've got the Duracell ones (often
colored green), and they're working great.

I use Duracell Rechargeable AA Batteries. They are awesome and very economic.

I'm using Duracell Duralock AA for my controllers. Should I have better batteries, like AA rechargeable's? Is the battery meter accurate with the Duracell Duralock? The reason I'm asking is my controller disconnects often at just over half full
battery. So I'm wondering if the battery meter is showing incorrectly for the Duracell's and would you get better accuracy with AA rechargeable's or the Play & Charge Kit?

I recommend getting a wire kit as it charges your controllers faster and it can also charge when your playing. You can get the from any gaming store or maybe Amazon
