I purchased virtual currency yesterday and it's still not showing in game

I purchased in game currency over 24 hours ago and it's still not showing in-game. I contacted support yesterday when the money was taken but nothing showed in-game and they said to leave it 24 hours and if nothing coming up to contact them again.

I contacted them again today after nothing showed up in-game and they directed me to the game developer. After explaining the situation to the game developer they said because it was purchased through the MS store I would need to contact MS support. Now I can't access the support function because the initial chat is deemed to be closed and I can't create a new one. I have tried to call back function 3 times and still had no call.

Any support or advice would be great please?

Yeah I mean hopefully that doesnt happen but still this is how the email that i recieved from MS goes:

“ To complete the return, your game or virtual currency purchase will be removed. If virtual currency was used to purchase an item, the item will be removed, and the purchase price will be restored to your in-game wallet prior to the refund.” So hopefully
not as i’ve not done anything wrong.

He's a friend of mine who moved to the UK...We used to play with each other until he moved to UK but decided to just not reset his home Xbox..

Which is why we are gamesharing…

I would like to purchase virtual currency on my own account...But his account region now is UK and mine is US,,,

I was just wondering if it will work...I will be purchasing virtual currency using a US account and play the game which is owned by the UK account using the US account...I was just wondering before I make the purchase if the virtual currency would still
appear in-game even though my region is different from the game's owner?

There is no way to get a refund, as it was a gift card, and there is no way to transfer it to another account. Is this gift card just money, or virtual currency for a game? If it is just money, then you can still purchase games with it, by purchasing the game as a gift for the account you want the game on. If it is virtual currency for a game, then there is nothing that can be done to move it to another account, so your only option would be to use it on the account you redeemed it on.

Hey,

Fortnite uses it's own virtual currency named V-Bucks.

You should be able to purchase V-Bucks with your Xbox currency and with those V-Bucks purchase in-game items on Fortnite.
