    I purchased Sea of Thieves and an XBOX One for my son when he was a minor. Because I wanted to keep his content restricted and have him on my family account, the game was installed on my account.

    He is an adult now, how do I give him his game to use on his own Microsoft PC and XBOX account?

    The only way would be to purchase the game on his account. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

    You can game share with him using his own account, all you need to do is designating his Xbox console as your home console, that way you can share with him all the games you have purchased before and any other services like Xbox Live and game pass. You can

    On PC, if he wants to use your games or subscriptions to Game Pass and Xbox Live, you will need to sign into Microsoft Store with your account and have him sign into the Xbox App on PC with his account.

    Sea of Thieves is a great game and I highly recommend it. I would suggest keeping it for yourself, as you may enjoy it. Or perhaps your son will when he is of appropriate age.

    Games pass and live gold confusion

    Game Pass is a subscription service to get access to games including Sea of Thieves.

    Gold is a subscription service to be able to play online. Sea of Thieves is an online only game and would require gold to be able to play it.

    Unless he own Sea of Thieves by itself, he needs both.

    I buy a gamepass to try Sea of Thieves with friends, the gamepass is activated and he's working no problem with it.

    But when i go on Xbox store & Windows store and type "Sea of thieves" i can't find it (same for every gamepass game)
