I purchased games a long time ago that no longer show as purchased

I purchased dead space 1 2 and 3 back in 2019 as I was getting into sci Fi games like Titanfall at the time. A friend really killed he experience and I ended up uninstalling them and just leaving them to sit in my library.fast forward to this week I watch the dead space flicks on Tubi. Kinda gets me in the mood to try again. I go ad reinstall the games and get to playing for abit.im 4 hours into Dead space and my ultimate ends. I cannot pay for it again currently. I think no biggie I already own these. apparently not? Microsoft is telling my "My purchase was refunded or cancelled" I can't load any of the three games. The don't show up in my purchases. And this goes for a large majority of older 360 version games I've purchased over the years. Why are they trying to make me purchase them again????? I've been with Xbox 13 years and I keep seeing my library shrink as random games disappear and ask for me to repurchase and I go to my order history and they aren't there???? Just let me game In peace please? Help.

Hi BezeBurger! I am sorry to know about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in.

To verify the ownership of our games, they should be visible on our account order history. If they're not showing there, it's possible that they were purchased or linked to a different account. You could try to sign in your other emails or accounts to https://account.microsoft.com/ and review their order history. You could also check your emails for the order confirmation emails regarding your game orders.

Are you signing in with the same account that originally purchased it? If not, please do.

Do you use one or more profiles on your Xbox? Make sure you have the Account active that made the purchase. If this is the case do the following delete the profile (make sure you have the login details for it before that). After that press the power button
on your Xbox until it turns off. Then unplug the power cord for at least one minute and plug it back in. Restart your Xbox and redownload the profile. After that go to the store and try to redownload the game. Also you could check if the game shows up in the
ready to install section instead of going to the store.

Yes, i have my profile and they have their own. I shall try what you suggested but the problem i see is that even on the microsoft website its showing me that i need to pay for the game

Unfortunately there's no longer a way to see a full list online. You can check your transactions at http://account.microsoft.com , but any games redeemed through Games with Gold won't show there and the transactions will only go back so far so depending on how long ago they were, the purchases may not show there.
