My son had purchased 450k worth of vc on nba 2k23 without my consent. I requested a refund for this matter but it was denied without any reasoning? I was wondering if I could still received my funds back into my account as this is ridiculous due to the fact my son had bought it without my consent or me even knowing until after the purchase had been made and popping up as a notification on my phone.

Did you son spend any of the 450k VC at all? If he spent even a little bit of it then that would be one reason they would deny a refund and they likely won't change their decision if any of it was spent at all.

That link you provided is for NBA2K16 so if that is what you purchased, your VC will be in that game, not 2K17.

NBA 2K17 Legend Edition Gold Pre-Order page on the Microsoft Store, you can find your NBA 2K16 items by doing the following:

35,000 VC can be instantly redeemed in NBA 2K16 by searching for "NBA 2K16" on the Xbox Store and downloading the "35,000 VC for NBA 2K16 (PreOrder Incentive)"

I don't see any logical reason why support would refund you for the VCs that you have purchased and USED. I don't even think other companies will do anything like that. But if you meant to say that you didn't get to use those VCs because they weren't delivered
to your account, then contact 2K. They have an article about the same situation when it happen to 2K17 (https://support.2k.com/hc/en-us/articles/227556987-I-Purchased-VC-But-It-Wasn-t-Delivered-To-My-Account). I doubt support will refund any missing points
if the purchase went through and the data for the VCs transition to the Xbox Account (Just not on your 2K Account).

Its a problem on 2Ks end so I'm sure they are reinstating every missing VCs to those who bought it.

And by the way, if in case you are thinking of pretending that you didn't get the VCs even if you're really use them, good luck in committing fraud. That's an easy ticket for a permanent ban on the account, and could even be on the console.
