    I purchased 3 months XBOX Live Gold on 2/7/2018. at the time, there was a promo for 3 free months if you purchased 3 months. The code for the 3 free months would be sent to my inbox. I have not received the code yet.

    I purchased on June 15 and still have not received the free three months either. I have contacted various customer service reps with always being told they cannot help me and sending me to different reps. I even contacted via Twitter
    for help. No resolution yet.

    Well it has been more than 2 months since I in good faith made a purchase from the Microsoft store.

    I am completely shocked that this issue has been completely ignored for this long.

    This complete refusal from Microsoft to acknowledge this problem with their sales department has now caused me to cancel my Xbox Gamer Pass and will now refrain from making any further purchases from the Xbox store until this issue is resolved.

    Here in Australia we have an Ombudsmann who will investigate companies when they refuse to help or acknowledge customer complaints and payment issues, every time they receive a report from a disgruntled customer they will issue a fine to the offending company
    as a mandatory part of their investigation, Companies want to avoid this... I now urge Microsoft to address this issue immediately, as it is not in the best interests for all parties concerned for this type of reporting to occur, however if this issue remains
    unresolved I feel that you will leave us Australians with no other choice. I am not sure of the consumer laws in other countries and I would suggest that if you are affected by this to explore your countries laws to prompt some action from Microsoft.

    Very disappointing experience indeed.
