I preordered Watch Dogs and my 15 dollar gift card doesn't work.

I preordered Watch Dogs and got a 15 dollar gift card. The gift card doesn't work. I've tried redeeming it on about 5 different websites in as many ways possible but it still doesn't work. Also, it's only a 9 digit code and every place always asks for a
25 digit code.

I've talked to customer support but get very little help. Is anybody else having this problem and does anybody know of a way that I can redeem my 15 dollar gift card. Thanks.

Can't use $5 gift card reward

Xbox live sent me $5 gift card like 15 days ago. I live in Turkey so our currency is Turkish lira. I can't use dollar on my Xbox as you know mate. So can we exchange dat $5 gift card to Turkish lira gift card?

 

I assume this was from the Microsoft Store?

If memory serves, that 9 digit code needs to be redeemed at the Microsoft Webstore (you know, where you bought WatchDogs) and it'll either automatically add a $15 card to your basket, or zero the cost of one.

I'm pretty certain the email, and offer FAQs do cover this though.

 

You have to redeem the 9 digit code at the Microsoft store by "purchasing" the $15 card and checkout using the code. You will then receive the 25 digit code in a separate email that can be redeemed on the console or on Xbox.com.

As AdyCarter says, your original email with the 9 digit code contained all the steps needed to redeem and receive the $15 credit.

 

Check out the game's official website or the location you preordered it at (if it was Gamestop, try the Gamestop website). I had a similar problem with a totino's Gears 4 code. I had to go to the totino's official website to redeem it.
