    Ashbeard is a login issue.

    Please, on your PS5, delete the Sea of Thieves local save data, this will enable you to link the account again via the QR Code.

    Follow these steps:

    On your PS5, Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Select Saved Data (PS5)

    Select Console Storage and select Sea of Thieves > Delete.

    Once deleted, launch the game again and do the linking process one more time.

    If you still have issues, please, submit a ticket with Sea of Thieves Support:

    Whenever i link my account to play crossplay on grounded ps5 it says my account it says “ The account you're attempting to sign in with isn't provisioned for this environment. Your application may not be configured correctly.” even though it’s the same account for sea of thieves I even tried different email

    When are the servers back on ps5

    Hello, and thanks for getting in touch. I'm Aileen, and I'm here to provide you with advice as an independent advisor.

    The “StrawberryBeard” error usually isn’t caused by actual server downtime. It means Sea of Thieves can’t connect to the servers, but the problem is almost always on the local device, network, or account side. The servers are currently online for all platforms, including PS5.

    Here’s what I recommend trying:

    Check the Sea of Thieves server status page

    Visit: https://www.seaofthieves.com/status

    If there’s a real outage, it’ll be posted there. As of now, no widespread PS5 outages have been reported.

    Test your internet and NAT type on PS5

    Go to Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection

    Sea of Thieves needs an open or moderate NAT. If it's strict or if there's a DNS error, you might see StrawberryBeard every time.

    Use a different network or hotspot temporarily

    This helps rule out a router or ISP issue. Some home networks block the ports Sea of Thieves needs.

    Reinstall the game

    Fully uninstall, reboot your PS5, and reinstall Sea of Thieves. This resets any local file or cache issues.

    Make sure you’re signing in with a Microsoft account

    Sea of Thieves on PS5 still needs an Xbox/Microsoft account to play online. If login fails at that step, it can also trigger this error.

    If you've tried all this and it still doesn’t work, let me know your NAT type and if any other games are having connection issues.
