    My series x usb ports smell of burning if I plug in my ssd or anything else usb

    No only when I plug something in to a usb port do I smell burning and no the cable isn't burnt it's okay the console is okay as long as I don't plug anything in to the USB ports

    Locate the battery pack on the back of the controller.

    Pinch the pack between your thumb and your index finger, with you index finger depressing the button on the top of the pack.

    Pull the battery pack off the back to reveal the battery springs and contacts. The serial number will be written below a bar code toward the bottom of the battery area.
