    Why do I have to pay twice for Code Vein. I paid for the Code Vein deluxe on my Xbox. Why do I have to pay again to download it to my PC

    Because it's considered a different platform. Some games can be purchased on one and played on both without purchasing again (Play Anywhere titles), but unfortunately that game is not one of them.

    my point is - why do I have to pay microsoft to use a service that another company provides.

    Think of it this way - on your local pc you have to pay 5 og 10$ a month to use adobe photoshop - kaspersky antivirus or google chrome. programs that is either free or paid for. You already paid for windows but in order to use additional programs you have
    to pay extra to microsoft in order to use them on your windows-machine.

    In my book that is trying to make a good product into a cash-cow.

    I love my xbox but I am not playing online - thats why I don't need a gold account

    Everything you've ever purchased should be on your download history. Nothing is ever removed from that list. Usually the only reason something would not show up is if it was purchased on a different account. If you're 100% positive that it was purchased
    with your account and it's not showing up, you would need to contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
