    My friend purchased a $15 Xbox card for me because my Xbox Live ran out, but I can't use it to purchase Xbox Live. Do I have to use an Xbox Live card/Credit card in order to purchase Xbox Live?

    Halo: MCC Digital Pre-Order Not Working!

    I tried purchasing the pre-order with $50.00 Microsoft currency and putting the rest on my credit card, then I get an error message saying to use another card and the transaction won't go through. I've tried around 15 times to purchase and it won't let me.
    I need help!

    If you already redeemed the currency to your account, it would not be possible to take the money back off. It's never been possible to use the currency on your account to purchase gold.

    Did you purchase with a credit card, or a pre-paid code? If a pre-paid code was used, unfortunately you will not be eligible for the free game as this particular promo required an Xbox Live purchase using a credit card.

    Let us know if it was purchased on a credit card so we can take a deeper look! :)

    When did you upgrade to Xbox Live gold? Keep in mind it can take up to 4 weeks for the code to deliver to your Xbox Live messages after purchase. If it has been more than 4 weeks since your purchase, please let us know.

    Additionally, did you use a pre-paid code or a credit card for your Xbox Live purchase? Pre-paid codes do not qualify as it's considered a previous purchase.
