I owned MW3 and now i have to buy it even though i bought it?

This may mean that it was purchased on a different Microsoft account. Please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and locate your order transaction, the game should be visible as "completed".

If not, you may need to check all Microsoft accounts that you own but if not, check all the Microsoft accounts that you own.

I checked all the accounts, doesn't show up even though i got the game around 2021. I'm pretty sure it wasn't on game pass or xbox live gold. I had the game one moment on owned games, the next time, it is not there.

I apologize but if it's not showing in any of your accounts it may have been shared with you before from a family member's account. If there are other profiles that used your Xbox before kindly ask them to check their account.

If the order history doesn't show the purchase was made the best course of action would be to

request a callback from one of our billing specialist! They could look further into the account and hopefully get this squared away!!

If you've purchased Minecraft for Xbox 360 on the same account you are currently using and have connected to Xbox Live at least once while playing, you will be able to upgrade to the Xbox One Edition at a discounted price depending on your region/country.

In the United States the discounted price is $4.99 USD + applicable taxes.
