I own physical Minecraft disc but Game Pass says from there

This isnt a new thing, I have a few games for gold games that show up as game pass games.

Also any of my games that i actually own (physical disc versions) also show up as game pass games if they are in game pass, but that just means i don't have to put the disc in too play them. I assume that when such games are removed from game pass ill just
have to revert to putting the disc back in the drive to play.

Do you mean that you are unable to play the games that you own as physical discs?

Are / were these games also available with game pass?

If so, the console may be trying to boot the game pass versions and you may need to uninstall and reinstall the disc versions.

You may have obtained the game through a game pass because even if you own the physical disc game if it's not inside the Xbox the license can't be read which means that you need to purchase the game digitally.

Previously, you may have played the game through game pass or through game sharing.

Try and uninstall the game then put your disc in to reinstall the game!

If this doesn't work, try contacting Minecraft support!

The store will say you don't own it because you didn't buy it digitally from the Xbox store.

but that doesn't explain why I can't rate my brand new game on its far cry 5 page you used to be able to rate new games that you got, its not allowing me to post it under Rating and Reviews section for this game or post of a review , since I do own the physical
version of this game that I just got from GameStop the other day.

it reads "You are unable to rate or review as you do not own this product." and also says Below product is installed. You can Play this game for now or buy it to own.

Again I do own it as the Physical Disc version of this game, I don't understand why I can't rate my Physical copy of this game, I don't have this problem with my other Physical Xbox games online, just this one copy of far cry 5 disc that I got this week from
my local GameStop's store is having this problem.

I have already tried reinstalling the game completely from scratch by uninstalling it from my games list and then reinstalling from the physical disc. An update is also downloaded and installed while installing the game but no extra content ever appears
under manage content either during or after the install.

Going to my order history, the season pass appears correctly and says completed next to it. If I click on it, it just says you own this game and the button on the right again, just gives the option of buy as a gift.
