I own Minecraft on my Xbox One S, but it's not showing that I own it in my Xbox Series X...

I don't have Xbox One or Series S/X, unfortunately.

In this link you send me it doesn't show as owned. Did I bought the wrong version of the game?

I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he mentions the steps to solve this problem, you can try it to see if it works for you. It works and I thought it was good information, which you should take into account:

Please try to solve the problem by doing the following procedures:

1. In your console settings, go to the "Account" section and select the "Delete accounts" option and choose the account in question. This will delete your profile from the console but you will not lose any of its data, don't worry. .

2. With the Xbox on, press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off completely.

3. Unplug the power cord from the console and wait 30 seconds.

4. Reconnect the power cable to your console and turn it on normally.

5. Then add the account back to your console so that all your profile information is downloaded again, it won't take long.

6. Check if the problem persists, if so, please reset your console to its factory settings, keeping your games and applications as follows:

Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and keep games and apps.

This way your console will be reconfigured and you will have to add your account again. No game or application will be deleted, nor will you lose the progress of any game since these are saved in the Xbox Cloud.

UPDATE : I have resolved the situation! While I can't call this a guaranteed solution but I'll just explain what I did.

I used to own a One X. I gave that to my brother over a year ago when I acquired my Series S. I went to his house tonight and played on the One X that I gave him which still had my profile on it. Once I signed in I checked my game library and sure enough, L4D2 was there (whereas on my Series S it didn't show up at all) I installed the game on the One X and booted it up and it worked.

Came home later, unplugged my Series S for a few minutes, plugged it back in and booted it up and lo and behold, there it was in my library!

I'm no genius but my only guess is that some wires got crossed with the license for the game and my profile/consoles. So for all you Series S owners, find a friend or relative that owns an Xbox One and try to install the game on that and then see if it shows up in your Series S library.

The bundle purchase shows in my history. The series x/s portion works fine but the xbox one version was working but now says I need to insert disk to show ownership which is not possible because it was a digital download bundle. when I check the xbox store it does not show install/manage you own this. it shows a purchase price
