    I own a game I didn't buy on Xbox live store


    Ive bought a physical copy of WWE 2k17 on GameStop for xbox one. It haven't been delivered to my house yet but I got an email saying that it is estimated that it will be delivered to my house on Monday the 26. I check the xbox game store on my Xbox one s
    so I can watch the trailer. But to my surprise it says I own the game. I don't know how since I bought the game on GameStop and it's a physical copy not a digital. Can anyone help me on my situation and see what happened. Thanks.

    ok I get that but I own digital 360 copies of games list in the store for xbox one I thought if I own the 360 version I didn't have to buy it again xbox one

    I have not been able to rate my game that I got from my local Gamestop store, its installed but says

    The store will say you don't own it because you didn't buy it digitally from the Xbox store.

    Just to confirm, it's definitely 2K17 appearing in your Ready To Install list?

    Do you currently gameshare with someone who may have pre-ordered the game?

    Is it possible you're seeing 2k16 which was recently free on Games With Gold?

    it wasn't on my ready to install list. I just went to wwe 2k17 Xbox store page, and it says I owned the game. It says "With Xbox gold play the game for free or buy to own".
