I normally game share with a friend and the game pass has completely stopped working for me...

Game sharing outside your physical household is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and console bans

For Game Pass subscriptions, the same benefits apply as with other memberships.

However, your friend has to install the games, as they (usually) aren't shown under ready to install. After they are installed, Home Console sharing works normally.

I was wondering if i were to game share with one of my friends who has the game pass and another friend who doesn’t have the game pass gameshares with me. Would my friend without the game pass get the game pass games as well because they are games
sharing with me or not.

As [Farscape] states the home Xbox feature is meant for sharing your games/gold subscription/etc across 2 consoles that you personally own in the same household.

It was never meant for sharing with friends and doing so is actually against the rules.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox Game Pass.

Kindly try to check if your Xbox Game Pass subscription is still active on your account by signing to account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

If the subscription is still active, try to check if your account is still set as home Xbox by signing your account on your console > press the Xbox menu button > settings > personalization > my home Xbox > see if the option will appear as "Remove this my home Xbox" if so, this means that your account is already set as home Xbox and leave it as it is.

However, if you see the option "Make this my home Xbox" this means that your account is no longer game/subscription sharing, you will have to click that option to proceed with subscription sharing.

Note: If you do not have enough Xbox home switch, you won't be able to set your account as home Xbox. You will have to wait for the duration to replenish 1 Xbox home switch.

This is such a great story to hear, thanks for sharing! I know several friends that stopped gaming online or completely due to toxic communities and game chats.

For me, I stopped gaming as much due to working long hours and other hobbies taking up my free time. I was playing video games once or twice a month at the most. Over a year ago, I started getting into watching game streaming when Facebook Gaming started.
Now I'm watching streamers on Mixer and Twitch as well, and this has really got me back into gaming on a regular basis. I have also noticed a cultural shift in gaming communities being a more positive and welcoming environment.
