I never got the vanilla cape despite owning both Java and Bedrock

It is now December and nearly 2 MONTHS after they estimated the cape to roll out. I have not received the cape on Minecraft Bedrock Edition or in the Minecraft Launcher. I have owned Bedrock for Years and got Java through a redemption code on Black Friday 2021 they are on the same Microsoft account and both on PC. I even launched both of the through the same launcher before June 6th (the deadline for owning both editions) I have Video and Photo evidence to prove it. As far as I can tell the system for rolling out the Vanilla Cape has a bug. I would like to know who to message or talk to to get this resolved. Thank You

Are you trying to know if you can play Vanilla Capes on Bedrock edition in PC?

If that is right, yes, you could play Vanilla Capes on Bedrock edition if you owned both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition on the same Microsoft account prior to June 6, 202212. However, Game Pass and Family Group ownerships are not eligible for the cape. You can equip or unequip certain capes for your skin via the character creator.

Hey Vic, thanks for reaching out for help on the forums. I'm sorry you're dealing with this confusion about the Minecraft Vanilla cape.

From what I gathered, to be eligible for the Vanilla cape, you needed to own both Java and Bedrock on the same Microsoft account before June 6, 2022. Since you bought them on different accounts, unfortunately, you wouldn’t qualify. The cape can’t be transferred between accounts either.

Can take a while until you get the vanilla cape finally.

According to the official Vanilla cape FAQ:

"We began rolling out the vanilla cape to eligible players on Wednesday, August 31st. However, these rollouts will continue into the coming months. Once it arrives, the cape should show up in your Dressing Room and Skin Customization menus automatically in both versions of the game. If you don’t see your cape, try refreshing the game by logging completely out and back in.

Note: The vanilla cape may not appear in both versions of Minecraft at the same time. If the cape appears in one game and not the other, give it some time, and it should eventually appear in your other version."

As long as you meet the requirements you're going to receive it.
