    How can i refund a purchase? I bought something but then it didn't show up, so i bought it again a while later and they both loaded in at the same time, and i would like to refund one of them.

    You will not need gold to buy games (but you will need an xbox live id/gamertag) thats a given, same for iplayer (assuming it comes to xbox one)

    As for renting movies not sure ive always had gold when ive done it

    They both add the funds to the same Microsoft account balance so it would still work the same regardless of the name. But you'd have to contact where you bought it from to see if they would exchange it.

    I don't think it's possible to transfer the free month trial from a new account to a pre-existing account. If you have a code then it will work with any account but, no, the free trial is for the new account only.

    i believe can only use that with a new account. No way to use it on an existing account.
