    I need to talk to an agent regarding a console ban


    I purchased my Xbox One Series X used and it worked great for about a month until a came home one day and the console was banned. My account has 0 strikes or any active enforcement actions taken upon it. My console has been banned over a month and I still can not play.

    I don't think it's okay that there's no way to submit a case review. It is also not okay that there is no option to contact somebody that ist actual able to help. I just have to accept that my console was locked, even though I can't imagine I did anything wrong. Without the possibility of contacting anyone about it. Without even having received any information about why this is happening.

    I'm really sad about how others and I are treated as long-time customers. In my case there were no incidents before. Couldn't it also be a mistake? In this case it can't be checked at all because I can't contact anyone who could check it. Everyone on the support team I've had contact with so far has said I need to file a case review, there's nothing they can do about it, or I should contact the enforcement team. You say that it doesn't even is a possibility top file a case review. There ist no solving or connected information for me.

    Still appreciate your quick response.

    Hey, I'm sorry for you Joe!

    I have the same issue. I know that doesn't help you, but you do know you're not the only person with this happening.

    I noticed my console ban one week ago. Before that I did not play for two weeks.

    I can't Imagine anything I have done wrong or against the terms of use.

    I don't have any strikes or other active or expired enforcement actions. Except the console ban. Didn't even get information per mail what happened or why. I can't imagine anything that I could have done, that caused the console ban. I rarely play online and when I do, I only play with friends at home and nobody has access to my console.

    I bought the console new in a store two years ago. The guarantee also expired two days before I noticed the ban.

    Really sad, because nobody could help me by now and I can't reach the enforcement team without an active ban on my enforcement microsoft site to submit a case review.

    Are you able to submit a case review? Or does that not work for you either because of the lack of active enforcement action?

    Case reviews aren't available for console bans. So they wouldn't be able to submit a review.

    never ever buy a used console, especially an xbox as once banned it will never be unbanned, least on playstation you can get it unbanned.

    it will have been the previous owner that caused it, you will either have to get the seller to refund which will be impossible most of the time or buy another console.
