I need to retrieve expired messages

Is there anyway to retrieve messages that have simply expired? I never deleted them and was hoping to retrieve some messages from about 5 years ago.

Usually, Xbox Live messages expire after 30 days, so you need to make sure that you redeem codes that are sent to you before before they expire.

However, the Xbox Forums Support may be able to retrieve your code for you, though it's not guaranteed. They will reply here to let you know.

You will need to see if one of your friends can send you an invite to the preview program. This could take time, especially over the weekend.

Once an Xbox Message has expired, the system deletes the message completely from the system. This meaning, no one can retrieve the message back for you.

For the record, messages expire after 30days, so that is what has most likely happened with your message
