I need to recover my account I had a power outage when the power came back on my account...

I have seen this happen on My X Console when we have had a power outage or power fluctuation. Is it possible there has be a power outage or other power event since you last turned the console on?

I have the same issue. I just bought the game and had played for about an hour. There are power outages in my area, and the power went out while I was just past the mission where they imprison the father. I thought my game would have saved since I had already completed the mission. When I restarted the game after the power came back, it said "Damaged save file" and I was forced to start a new game. I'm hoping it doesn't happen again.

This happened to me and I removed my account, readded it back to the Xbox and then did a hard reset (while on, hold power for 10 full seconds, then restart) and when it came back up everything was there. The account refresh is what did it I think.

I had an inquiry opened by microsoft to recover my account. Normally, I should get it back soon, the hacker having taken advantage of the money that was there on this account, the Microsoft procedure for the refund is the longest step.

Thank you for your help. My house lost power for a day and when I came back to try your methods, the game miraculously can be played. During the power outage I also received the email receipt for the game. Maybe it's possible that I only have the right for
the game after the receipt is delivered?
