I need to manage the payments on my account

Is your son using the account on the Xbox console? If yes, you can set up a passkey for every purchase.

Here are the steps from Microsoft/Xbox Support:

"1. Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the guide, then select System > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey. To help protect your account, you may be asked to enter your password.

2. Select Change my sign-in & security preferences.

3. Scroll right and select Customize.

4. Scroll right and select Ask for my passkey to make purchases.

5. Select Passkey required."

Do this on the account that he is using.

If he has his own account, you can add him as a member via https://account.microsoft.com/family, from there you will be able to manage his spending, time limits, etc.

maybe there is an issue with your account (no region / payment Information / child account) so please take a look at

"Manage your payment options online" In some cases, Xbox Live subscription need a payment option!!
