i need to find my old friend who changed his name

I Do not think there is a set software out there to help find previous Xbox Friends however I can offer some suggestions as to what I would do in this situation.

1. Look at your current friends list as despite 'Changing his name' he should be still there, you may recognise his new name.

2. Look at previous messages as if you have sent him a message then the text will still be there allowing you to find his new name.

3. Try asking mutual friends if anyone knows the person you are referring to, who knows maybe they know what his name is.

4. Finally if in doubt, just message the all of your friends on Xbox to see if they are the player you are talking about.

As far I can tell these are your only options however you may just see some stats that you can relate to him on a game you used to play, hope you find the Friend you are looking for.

Yes, when you change your tag, the old tag is available. I changed my name in the past and added a guy as a friend who took my old name.

[/quote]The only method I can think of is if you had people on your friends list who also knew that person, you could try looking on their friends lists for this person. You may not know the gamertag but the person's name or gamer picture may stick out.

Zuumma is not my real name, that's the name the hacker changed my old gamertag to. I hate this *bleep* name. No offense to your friend, I'm simply waiting to be able to get my old name before I change it back. Unfortunately this means I'll be known as Zuumma
here for a month or so... BLECH!
