Andrew_151, it is not possible to recover a Microsoft account using only the username, on the other hand, Customer Service does not have access to or can provide data or any type of information in this regard.

You can only recover your account using the only method available to Microsoft

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/. Once there, they must click on the circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Then click login.

If as a user you do not have any of the recovery options connected to your account, you should click on the selection that says "I do not have any of these". When you click on that link, they will be sent to a Microsoft form. You must complete it, including all pertinent information, and Microsoft will contact you and try to help them recover to regain access to your account.

If the user has forgotten their login information, they should go to login. Choose your login options. This will ask you to enter an alternate email address associated with the account or a phone number.

If the user does not have another linked account to help provide account access, it is recommended to create another account. Once they create the account, they must use the new account to log in and select "forgotten password". Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

If you are signed on with PapaGriz, you can view the email address on the Xbox.



To find the Microsoft account associated with your gamertag

1. On your Xbox 360 console, sign in with your gamertag.
   
2. Go to Settings, and then select Account.

   Microsoft account. You'll see the email address associated with your gamertag
