According to Microsoft it is not possible to expedite this period.

The security info you chose to remove will be deleted in 30 days. During that time, we'll send notifications to the phone number or email address that's being removed, in case an attacker is attempting to remove your information.

You can continue using your console during the 30-day waiting period, and you can continue using your account to make purchases online.

You can’t make changes to the security info on your account, change your password, or manage parental controls online.''

If you click the link in my previous post it takes you to the number for your country/region. I know you can't use the contact us option due to updating your security proofs.

The reason they gave it a month to change the security information is for unauthorized access cases. They can't tell when an account has been taken due to an old e-mail possibly being compromised. The only way you'll be able to cancel your subscription is by
contacting phone support directly.

If you're worried that your account might be compromised. I would suggest that you take a look over the following information provided on the

Compromised Account Solution link and take the steps mentioned to secure your account again.

You can change it back in the settings menu. I have sometimes encountered a glitch where that happens but it fixes if you change it back to southpaw.

If you were able to get to the Proofs Managing page, you can remove the alternative address. Then change your password to something very secure. I recommend thinking of a sentence you can easily remember. Like for example "This sentence is my password. I
can remember it well!" Then take the first letter of each word and the punctuation and you get "Tsimp.Icriw!" which would be a complex password that you can still easily remember.

Then, after changing your password, scroll down on the page and enable Two Step Verification and set up the free Authenticator App on your phone.

After you've done that, add your own phone number and alternative email addresses at the top, so you can recover your account with that information.

And remember to keep that information up to date, BEFORE you change phone numbers or emails! You will have to confirm a code that is being sent to the email or phone number. If you change that security information without access to your email or phone number
there, changing the security info takes 30 days, to prevent account hijacking.
