If that doe not work then you should go to your financial entity and dispute the charge to block it as well.

This is because access is mandatory to cancel a suscription from Xbox side

Is your whole Xbox account locked right now? If so, you need to talk to Support and have it unlocked and then you can go into the Subscriptions and change the payment methods there or remove the credit card on file, or cancel subscriptions.

It's because it's not enough to cover the entire cost. You need to select another method, which becomes your secondary method. The next page should ask you if you want to use the Accout funds first, which empties the Microsoft Account and makes up the remainder
using the secondary payment method.

Note though that selecting "no" on the second page does not cancel the transaction and takes the full amount from the secondary payment method.

My apologies, should have included this in my previous response. You'll need to contact your bank to cancel the charge. It can only be cancelled on Microsoft's end if you have access to the account.

Any sensitive info such as payment methods that were on the account could have been compromised. It would be best to cancel these payment methods to prevent any unauthorized charges.

In making changes such as canceling a subscription, we can only do this by signing in to the account, and by that, you may need to reach out to your friend and have him/her cancel the subscription or change the payment method into something else.

Another option is you may need to reach out to your bank and check the options available to them.
