I need to authenticate my account and it says I have to have xbl, but I play on a ps

What is the exact message? Are you getting this when trying to play Minecraft?

I understand SOME frustration, but it's not like the XBL requirement is a surprise. Sure, you dont need PS+ do play it, but while you do need it for most other online games, the majority of people interested in ESO will already have the sub service. Same
goes for XBL. There is a minority that would be interested in the game while not having XBL or PS+, but its a minority and not a huge arguing point. Honestly, if I'm gonna play this game its gonna be on PC, which I assume most of the MMO playing world will
as well

EDIT: After seeing the post saying 'no comprison topics" my mentioning of PS+ is not mean to compare XBL to it, just to say most people will have an online access subscription already in general, across all platforms (except pc)

[/quote]XBL is a rental service as well, you rent party chat, the ability to play online and some apps that are free elsewhere. As far as value for money is concerned, PS+ blows XBL gold out of the water.
