i need step by step instructions on how to install msfs from a disc drive

Step one purchase a console or gaming pc (if you are a minor discuss with parents)

Step two purchase games either digital or disc based

Step three follow instructions on how to install games

Step four play games

Uninstall and reinstall the game:

Uninstall MSFS 2024 completely.

Reinstall the game.

7. Try to fix the installation file:

On Steam, you can try to "fix" or "restore" the game's installation file, if available.

8. Check if MSFS 2024 is installed on the external hard drive:

No, I didn't clean install Windows.

This would be a nightmare and in the last 20 years I never had to do with this because ...

- On drive C: there's only the operating system and minor apps. This keeps image backups small.

Regularly I do the image backups of this drive and so I can restore to a functioning system with a few mouse clicks and in about 10 minutes.

- On drive D: are all the simulators as FSX, P3D, XPL and lately MSFS

Regularly I do synchronize all files and folders to an external drive. Synchronizing regularly done only takes minutes.

So normally resetting the OS and a simulator to a healthy state is a matter of minutes. But this time it didn't help.

I assume because of the connection of MSFS with the gaming services and the Microsoft store ... Which I didn't need and certainly not want!

I followed your steps A, B, C but nothing did help.

Step D ... I created a new local administrator but how do I start MSFS from there?
