I want to stream music while I play games, like I said, my phone's usb storage will show up on my xbox but it won't show the music I have on my phone, it says none is found. but there is... I'm wondering if it needs to be in a certain file in my phone or
not.

I found a way to stream music however you need a third party hardware. I'm using my galaxy s4 with the skifta app (free in Google play store), and I am "streaming" music from my phone's memory. The app allows you to access files from any media source over
your network, and stream media between the two. Play a game and listen to xbox music or watch a movie using snap and there you go. I'm not aware of a windows program that can do this, but I don't see why not, but I perfer using my phone. It sucks to not have
direct usb access, but this works for now.

I'm a dad too and can totally see the benefits of being able to stream games on my phone, tablet, etc. That said, I'm not sure this is a move that is in direct competition with the Switch and more of Xbox trying to expand it's market and make gaming easier
and more accessible to everyone.

Just my thoughts, but it will be cool to be able to stream my games when I can't access my xbox for some reason.

I really like it, especially being able to stream from my home console to my phone when I'm out.

Hi Kathy, I haven't streamed in a while but when I was streaming my in game on call of duty only had my voice on stream, and I play on a Xbox series s, so with that being said it was a question that was in my mind cause my team aren't on Xbox so when I'm having conversations with them in game it sounds like I'm talking alone on the stream.
