    I formatted my Xbox One, because I was having problems with a game, but I had important photos in the file explorer, and I lost them, so I wanted to know if I can recover these photos?

    unfortunately not cause formatting any hard drive of any sort clears everything saved on it. The only way to recover them is if you have a cloud copy or a copy on an external hard drive

    There is One only way to get It back, You would have to go to One Drive and check If those Photos are there, If it's not so it's lost

    Local files on the drive's explorer partition are erased with any reformat option.

    If they are that important I would suggest talking to xbox support about sending in your console and having them recover the files from it with a recovery service, if they even do that. That would be an odd request.

    If you have the photos anywhere else, such as on your onedrive or your xbox profile, you can save them from there.
