    I am a 6 month to 1 year, trying to recover my account, I changed cell phone number and I can not retrieve my account, the support of Microsoft that speaks to chat always repeat the same thing and never right, please , someone help me.

    OK these are the steps.

    As long as you have access to a xbox console that has had your profile on it previously these steps will work.

    1. go to account.live.com/acsr go through the steps there and when it wants to send a verification code to your security proof that you dont have access to it will give you a choice that you dont have access to any of the security proofs. It will then start
    asking you questions about the account if you answer enough of those questions correctly they will send you an email with a link to reset your password. if you do not answer enough of the questions correctly they will send you an email letting you know that
    too. at that point you would

    2. contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us with information from the email that you didnt provide them with enough information plus some information about your account and the console that the account was on before xbox support can then
    send this information to the escalations team who will look at that information and if that information matches they will send you an email to reset your password. Once the support team escalates the case it can take the escalations team up to 72 hours to
    get back with you. when you contact xbox support you will want to get ahold of billing and let them know you need to do a password reset escalation.

    If you do not have access to a console that had your profile on it previously then you would have to continue to fill the form out at account.live.com/acsr till you provide enough info.




    Once you do get the email saying you provided enough info and reset the password you can go to account.live.com sign in and change the security info on the account since you have access to the password but do not have access to the
    security info it will allow you to change the security proof but there will be a 30 day waiting period before the security proof change will take affect so you wouldn't be able to do anything that requires a security proof like ( changing password, changing
    email, changing security proofs) you can still sign into your account just the major stuff would not be able to be done.
