I need help, xbox party chat not working on pc windows 11.

When i try to launch party from xbox game bar i crash, i also cannot load xbox app. Below are rhw application and windows error reporting from event viewer when trying to start part from xbox game bar.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with Xbox Party chat not working Windows 11 PC.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please reset the Xbox App by going to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, search for "Xbox," click on it, and select "Advanced options." Then, click "Repair" first. And if it is not working choose "Reset" before reopening the app.

And then reinstall Xbox Game Bar. To do this, open PowerShell as an administrator and run:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

Then reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

Next is to check Audio Settings. Make sure that your microphone and headset are properly connected and set as default in Windows sound settings.

Then update Windows and Drivers. Kindly ensure that your system and audio drivers are up to date.

To update Windows, open Settings > Press Windows + I to open the Settings app. Click on "Windows Update" in the left sidebar. Click "Check for updates" and install any available updates. After update, please restart PC to complete the installation.

And to updating drivers, please open Settings > Press Windows + I and go to "Windows Update." Click Advanced Options > Scroll down and select "Optional updates." If any driver updates are available, select them and click "Download & Install."

I'm on PC and when I join a party people in party chat can't hear me and there's a triangle with exclamation point in the party chat widget. Gamechat in whatever game I play works fine

I am running windows 11 and yes the pin trick does work but it is incorrect and inconvenient because it leaves the audio window open an the screen and it gets in the way. when you go back into game you can not move the box. What is the correct solution

Except that I can use it on other PC's with no third party driver, and I also used my controller through bluetooth on this same PC without relying on third party drivers, it stopped working when I tested windows 11.
