    I need help with the compliance lock. Microsoft agents please help!


    I need help with the removal of the compliance lock on my account.

    To explain the full story regarding my account and how I got to this point:

    I play Minecraft Java on PC (account linked with Microsoft). I was a victim of a phishing scam with players in the game after trying to be kind and helpful on a Minecraft server. The goal of the hacker was to get into my Minecraft account and steal my valuable in game items. At this point, the hacker got into my account and REMOVED my security information and replaced it with his own as well as changing the password to MY account. I quickly contacted Microsoft to get help with securing my account and even made efforts to temporarily suspend my account to prevent the hacker from continuing to have access to my in game items. While it was suspended, I was directed to fill out the ACSR form. After a few attempts, I was finally able to successfully complete the form and prove that I was the verified owner of the account. This allowed me to change my account password to my own secure password and start a 30 day process to update my security information. I started this on June 30th, 2023 and it was fully updated and replaced on July 30th, 2023. From here, I have fully secured my account through the password and security information. The only thing stopping me from having access to my account is the error message stating:

    Your account has been locked

    We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

    Unlocking your account

    To unlock your account, you'll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we'll get you to the right place.

    This is the last thing I need help with. I have already filed out the compliance lock form but I am getting no luck with the constant AUTOMATED messages that I am receiving from the support agents. They say things about me having a "SERIOUS VIOLATION OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE" but I clearly have not done anything wrong. I am a victim of a phishing scheme. I did not do anything to violate the terms of service. I need my account unlocked and returned back to me as I am verifiably the owner of the account and the history can indicate that I did not violate anything.

    If any support agents here are able to help me get my account back that would be very helpful. I am willing to provide any information necessary to prove ownership of the account and the process with unlocking my account. Thank you everyone!

    Hello Mel, I have been through this many times with support agents. They wont be able to provide me with the help I need. I mainly need someone in the compliance lock department specifically to help me. I made this post in hopes that someone who has connections with an employee there can help me fulfill my requests regarding assistance with the compliance lock.

    I'm sorry you can't access your Microsoft account. There are some forms that can help you to defend your position on the suspension or blocking of your account.     I am so sorry you are having issues with a compliance lock.

    There is absolutely no way to get the account recovered other than the Account Reinstatement form: [www.microsoft.com/concern/reinstatecontent]. You should try again.

    Overall, I am sorry to tell you, due to the agreement you make with Microsoft when you open an account, it is up to their full discretion on locking or opening an account. This is to guarantee the integrity of the Microsoft service as a whole.

    Please try again with the form, it is the only way to reopen the account.
