i need help with privacy settings

Been having the same problem for the last 3 days. Phoned today and the guy was uninterested and useless. Refused to put me onto a supervisor and when I asked for an email address to contact, there isn't one... lol!

Anyway, I've since managed to resolve the problem myself. I'd love to charge a ridiculous fee to Microsoft for resolving the matter and in due course - identifying the cause of this - but it only took me 30 minutes so I won't get much.

After experiencing issues with the website (Sorry there was a problem. Try again later.). I closed all browsers down, cleared my cache and started again (though I had attempted this numerous times previously). When I revisited Xbox.com, instead of clicking
on "Sign in" at the top right, I clicked onto the "My Xbox" dropdown menu, then clicked on "Profile". This took me to the dreaded green page where it had sent a code to my email the previous 6 or 7 times I attempted this. I'm smarter though - I ticked the
box "Tick here if you sign in on this device regularly" so now on my return to the dreaded green page, it asked for my password. I entered it and it took me to a very different page. Anyway, from here I clicked onto the top right where it displays your username
/ email and the dropdown menu shows an option of "Xbox Settings". Click onto "Privacy", just above "Online Safety on Xbox One".

I was trying to set this up for my daughter so the next page shows her username which I selected, then you tick allow/block for whichever options you need (playing online/multiplayer).

There's different options in each one.

I have looked at the website and tried to follow the instructions but it just keeps coming to the same page over and over again!
