Hi all, when I connected to the net using explorer on the xbox and tried to connect to netflix iI had the same error code. The setting up of a wifi hotspot (see earlier post) using my phone and then connecting with a wire has worked perfectly for me over
the last couple of days. I am using a powerline set up to achieve a wired connection which works well with the xbox one. This allows you to have the modem away from the xbox and have a wired connection with trailing weird across the room. Hope this helps people.

I didn't need to sign in to my network as I am using a wired network and the xbox just connected. The netflix app is still working fine. The only other issue I have is worth a slightly choppy playback on iplayer.

Hi. I will post the following solution on the forum. After many hours of following troubleshooting steps and getting nowhere far I have solved the issue by using the following steps.

1. I set up a wifi hotspot using my android smartphone.

2. Went to settings - network - set up wireless network - search for the hotspot in the avaliable list - attached to that option.

3. Opened up the netflix app and then signed in.

4. Once signed in I watched about 5 minutes to check the quality of image which was hd.

5. I then came out of the app using the xbox sign on the controller and put in the wired connection.

6. I checked the network again to see if the wired connection was recognised.

7. I opened the app again and it connected without issue or error code that I was receiving before.

This has worked for the last 5 hours so let's hope that it has been solved.

Hi, I have a similar issue to you. The netflix app on xbox one does not connect and I receive the error code nw-2-5. When I analyse the connection server 1 and 4 are fine but server 2&3 have an error message nw-2-5. All my other devices such as android phone,
iPads and PC connect fine. I have spent hours on the helpline but got nowhere. Is anyone having the same issues?
