I need help with my reputation

I have recently been playing my favourite game Grand theft auto 5 online and i met a group of toxic players (Tryhards) and i killed one of them because one of them came at me and they all reported me ive had a perfect reputation FOR 8 YEARS AND IT GOES DOWN
BY A FEW PLAYERS GETTING BUTTHURT i ranted about this to mates and we all agreed the rep system is flawed big time and should be removed a lot of players agree and its not fair.

I have my right to play the games i spent money on i pay for xbox live gold and game pass (on my 2nd account ).

Xbox could you respond on this issue because its damn right unfair!

They currently don't offer anyway to enhance or positively bring your rep up. I've had the similar situation with an old acct and back in the day all it took was ppl reporting you. No investigation to the claims, just set in stone neg or pos rep

I got in needs work but then 2 minutes later i get put back in avoid me are people reporting me as soon as i get out of avoid me?

Well get your friends on gta to boost tour rep the same way you report bad player you can report good player in the same menu if they do that enough time your rep will be back to normal

From what I have always understood about reputation on XBL, from the early days, is that the 'reputation' system is basically meaningless. It may make some sort of difference somewhere, but generally speaking, it shouldn't affect your experience
on XBL. Have you noticed any difference since that happened?

That's how it used to be on the 360. It has changed with the One. If you get too many negative reports, your account reaches "avoid me" status and it limits who you can play with.
