I need help with Gaming services. Like Seriously.

So I have previously had many problems before hand with gaming services that caused me to not be able to download games or play them. Which as annoying as it is I managed to fix them by simply uninstalling it and reinstalling it as recommended. However recently it's different. It continues to not work correctly. Whenever I attempt to install a game(On Xbox PC apps) it states I have to install gaming services. I check it says on the microsoft store it is installed. I do the basic uninstall reinstall and it still doesn't work. I have checked the services and removed and reinstalled them. Everything is updated. I repaired and reset all the apps and it still doesn't work. I feel like i've tried everything except completely wiping my PC which I am not going to do. So please help i've been trying for 2 whole weeks consistantly and I'm paying for a service that doesn't work.

P.s This is not the account that the subscription is on this is just my MS forums one.

UPDATE: I have gone into the Services App and discovered GamingServices is always stuck on starting. GamingServicesNet is running. GamingServices is not and I believe that is the cause of my problems and is why the Xbox App fails to recognise it.

Sorry about that, let’s try some steps that might help. Kindly check if you have any pending updates using this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... or select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

If there's nothing pending, kindly right-click the Start button on your taskbar, and then select Windows Terminal (Admin). In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage

There is no way to get your money back as there are no refunds. Go out and buy a hard drive. It is needed to store the codec required in order to play the xbox original game. There are also 360 games out there that require a hard drive to function properly.
CoD and Halo are just a couple.

Original Xbox games need a hard drive, It's not storage space this is the issue here. Original Xbox games load on the 360 via a software emulator, this emulator is only available via an Xbox 360 hard drive. Don't fall for the mistake of buying a cheap
hard drive from eBay or similar, these drives are fake and are missing the emulation software. The hard drive must be an official one.

[/quote]Which is why I capitalized MAY lol and the only reason why I said that was because I had a friend who took his back and got a refund a while back. But this was only because he made a huge fuss about it which was pretty funny. But I'm sure it was
a rare case and depends on the store/person working at the time.
