I need help with either setting up mu xbox series x to either 120fps or 1440p

I have an aoc q27g2s monitor and it is supported by the monitor but when i go to my xbox settings and try to change to 1440p it doesnt come up as an option and only has either 1080p or 720p. And on the video modes tab in settigs, the 'allow 50hz' box is greyed off so i cant tick it i can onky tick the 'allow 24hz' box. Does that affect my fps in game? Anyways please help me get atleast one of them working.

It's possible that your monitor is not compatible with Xbox console.

Please try to check its manual if it does support 1440p & 120hz over HDMI or via DisplayPort. You may as well try a different HDMI cable if needed.

Having low refresh rate does affect your fps. It may show higher refresh rate on your game but what you see over your display is based on refresh rate.

It assumes it can use the PC for processing to make up for the low end electronics like all monitors do. whenever the refresh rate of the panel isn't a multiple if 30, it's because they overclocked it, which often causes compatibility problems with non computers.

Series s doesn't run at 120fps

You are thinking of 1440p at 144hz Vvr with Ray tracing off

Only ps5 (same hardware on digital or disk)

And Xbox series x

It can sit in either direction.
Series X supports, 720P, 1080P, 1440P or 2160P resolutions. It does not need to have a 4K (2160P) display to work.

CAn i run xbox series x on 1440P 165mhz monito with HDMI 2.0? I will be able to use 144hz/120hz on 1440P?
