I need help with an ipega-9167 controller

So, I went ahead and bought a new ipega controller (the PG-9167). Unfortunately, I keep getting an error from the GamePass app saying to pair a compatible controller each time I try to play a game.

The weird thing is, I bought that same controller about a year ago and it worked well on gamepass on my Z Fold 2. Now I have a Z Fold 3.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated

Does it work on other apps on your Mobile device? As it's a newer edition of the device is probably due to a compatibility issue between the software bon the device and the controller, but will be great to know if you have tested on different apps, also have you tested on Xbox.com/play?

Oh! I just fixed it after watching a YouTube video. The included manual provided the wrong instructions for Android. I had to pair it by holding "Home+Up" instead of the "Home+right" instructed on the app.

There are a few different types of Ipega controllers, which one do you have?

For it to work correctly it needs to support xinput, not all controllers support this.

From the manual, it does say that it supports X-input
