    I need help regarding the Xbox home button menu.


    Why are the group's tab and settings tab missing when I press the home button. I can still find setting under account but I liked it better when the tabs were there.

    Hi, first try resetting your console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Unplug it for a minute. Plug it back in and try again. See if it works properly.

    I have the same problem with two different xbox ones and media remotes.

    I kept searching till I found where someone replied to this problem. I tried this and it worked.

    Try power cycling the console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.

    Restart the console to see if it fixed the problem after.

    Media Remote Menu Button During DVD/Blue-Ray Playback

    Just tried my new remote this morning and exactly the same issue. The menu button works on the Xbox home screen - so I can bring up the context menu on a selected app. But nothing while watching a blu-ray.

    As a media box the Xbox is full of disappointments and this just adds to it. I'm seriously considering adding my PS3 back into my setup for media.

    I'm going to contact support regarding the menu button issue.
