I need help getting the mobile app to work

I cant join party on xbox for mobile app it says i need to update but there is not a update please help

You gotta go in the settings of your phone, got to apps, go to xbox app, clear data and cache Then re sign in and it should work

The website actually works quite well on mobile and it doesn't really need an app. If anything they really need to revamp their Xbox app to be more inline with the new GP app.

I have the same issue with a Galaxy S10 phone that was working prior to most recent update.
I too am able to get it to work by setting to Airplane mode and then enabling WiFi.
I do have a second phone with a different carrier and that works with no trouble at all.
Here's some info if it helps the battle...

Working Phone:

Model: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Carrier: AT&T

Non Working with Mobile network active
Model: Samsung Galaxy S10

Carrier: Tracfone (Using Verizon network SIM card)
Tried changing Mobile Network Mode from LTE/3G/2G to Global and still failed

Tried changing Mobile Network Mode to 3G/2G and was able to get it to work, but phone wouldn't connect to network operator make calls on 3G/2G
I set back to original LTE/3G/2G and then disabled my WiFi and App is crashing at menu.

I turned off my Mobile Data, Still with WiFi disabled but connected to Mobile network for calls/texts, and the App did not crash. No Internet connection established, but the mobile network did not seem to play an issue, only the Mobile Data over the network.

Interestingly enough, when I go back to original setup (Wifi Connected, Mobile Data Active) App crashes, then I logged out of my GPU profile and the app stays active with no crashes but can't play games without signing in.... When I sign back in to GPU profile, app crashes.

Not sure if it's Tracfone or Verizon network specific, but the app crashing appears to be 100% related to GPU accounts being logged in. Hope this helps.
