I need help from an agent to change the email on a xbox live account

If the Microsoft Account was closed due to inactivity, then everything associated to that account was also closed and no longer accessible if you are not able to log in anymore. Unfortunately there is no way to reverse an account closure once it's already
been done. This is listed out in the
Microsoft Service Agreement under section 4(a)(ii): "You must use your Microsoft account to keep it active. This means you must sign in at least once in a two-year period to keep your Microsoft account, and associated Services, active, unless
a longer period is provided in the Microsoft account activity policy at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2086738 or in an offer for a paid
portion of the Services. If you don’t sign in during this time, we will assume your Microsoft account is inactive and will close it for you. Please see section 4(a)(iv)(2) for the consequences of a closed Microsoft account."

I'm sorry that I have to give the hard message, but there is nothing that we on the forums can do for you once an account has been closed. You can try contacting Xbox Support again and provide them the gamertag that you've been trying to recover
to see if anything comes up in their system and if anything comes up, they can attempt to verify the account with you to see what information is on there.

it looks like the original email attached to the account was deleted due in inactivity, is there any way to attach an email to that gamertag or is it just lost now due to not having an email attached, it would just be a shame to lose the account.

no one from the forums can access your account. its possible to add the 2nd email as an alias and then set it to primary via account settings microsoft.com

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend to request a call from support. Important note: "The only way they can provide any information is you are able to verify the account.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
  
• Step 3-----select show contact options
  
  Step 4 ----select request call from support
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

yes i have it already but my email is from mail.com and it was hack and i had alot of problems with them and my xbox account is link to it so i was going to change it from my mail.com email to my personal email to is at live.com i just dont want to be kick
out of the ambassador program they didnt get into my xbox account cuz its a different password so i need a xbox support agent to tell me how to change my email and still use the ambassador chat thank you tho TroHAM & illicituskiller for your help but i need
a xbox agent for this one but thank you so much tho
