I need corrupted cloud save removed by Xbox support

Empire of Sin cloud save is corrupted. Game was saving and power went off. The cloud data is corrupted, and I can't synch with it or it breaks the game. It gives me an error on the load screen and I cannot load any saved games whatsoever, and it freezes on the load screen so that all I can do is back out of the screen. I have done ALL the things I can to resolve, including resetting my entire console, clearing caches, uninstalling and reinstalling, all multiple times. The ONLY thing that works is to do all of that, reinstall Empire of Sin, then take my Xbox offline, restart and play Empire of Sin completely offline. As soon as I launch the game and it synchs with the cloud data, the entire error process starts again. I need ALL Empire of Sin cloud data linked to my account deleted, so that I can once again play the game with cloud saves, and so that I don't have to play offline. This is particularly important as there will eventually be updates, etc. for the game that will require launching the game while online. Deleting the current, corrupted cloud data for the game is the solution. The corrupted data needs to be removed so that I can start cloud saves from scratch, without that corrupted data synching to my console. This error ONLY happens for Empire of Sin. Other games still synch with cloud data, and the saves work.

Hello SweldonMS, the saving of game progress is done automatically by the Microsoft system, not even support can delete or manage the "save" of your account for you.

You mention that you already completely reinstalled the console system and the game, however you tried to delete the saved game data directly from the console through the Xbox Menu option when you highlight the game?

If it is corrupted on the local machine you can try removing that save and syncing to the cloud. However if the cloud save is also corrupted there is nothing that can be done.

Are you able to start a new game at all instead of loading up your current save that seems to be corrupted? The only way to delete a cloud save is by clicking through the steps I provided above. If it's located on your Cloud Save Storage on your 360, you
will need to remove it from there as well.

Hey, SlickFoal526892! All game saves are saved on the Cloud. As long as they are not corrupt (really, really rare) then factory resetting will not remove these. They should be safe.

If you have your games saved to the cloud then your cloud saves may be corrupted if you have your games saved to a hard-drive then either your drive is broken and or corrupted. If its the hard drive I would recommend that you contact Microsoft support on
the issue.
