    Auto-Renewal Issues.

    I currently have a 1 month Gold subscription for Xbox Live which I pay by bank card and it Auto-Renews each month, however recently I have had financial difficulties which and would like to turn the Auto-Renewal off. I came on to here and went to my account
    settings and tried to turn the Auto-Renewal off but it came up with an error. The 06/10/2011 is the next renewal date and would like to turn it off before then.

    I sold my Xbox a month ago but forgot to turn off auto renewal on Xbox Live Gold. The transaction only came out yesterday and it's still pending, so is there a way that I could get a refund, as I no longer use this account. It would
    be really helpful as I really cannot afford to pay this at the moment.

    Just to clarify, are you referring to two separate accounts when you say that one says you are gold and the other says you are silver? If so, you will need to ensure that you turned off 'Auto Renewal' for each account. If one of the two accounts had Auto
    Renewal turned on, then this will explain why you were charged for the reoccurring month.



    If you are only referring to one gamertag, then so long as you successfully turned off

    Auto Renewal    , you should not have been charged. You will need to Contact Phone Support and speak to the Billing Department to discuss any options regarding a refund.

    Just cancelled my mother and fathers auto/renew...

    you might want to call MS

    turning off auto-renew wasn't enough for me.. i was able to play live past its expiry (which i was finding odd) but then i got suspended for not paying, and couldn't do anything.. because i turned off auto-renew and they still tried to auto-renew on an expired
    card. had to buy more live to do anything again. (was like a preview of the aggravation xbox1 will bring eh?)

    call em to be sure you're not in for any surprises.
