I need a refund for a gift but microsoft isn't letting me and I don't know why?

After submitting, wait for an email on the status of your refund. You should get one within 72 hours and if your request is approved, you'll get your money back soon after. Refunds are processed in 3 - 5 days.

Thank you for letting me know and I apologize for the trouble. The status should be "refunded" but if it's "refund denied" there may be a problem but I don't have the option to check that since I am not from Microsoft. You may need to get this checked.
