I need a Bluetooth adapter for headset and microphone on Xbox

I have a 75% hear loss in my left ear and I can not use a regular headset. The bones in my ears work but the drum is deformed. I have discovered conduction headsets that send sound through my bones and I can hear normally with them.

The brand of headset I use is Shokz, formerly Aftershokz. Several years ago, despite my pleadings, they stopped making wired headsets and now only produce Bluetooth devices.

I have a weird setup with my xbox where the sound and chat come out my TV through a 3mm cable to the a Bluetooth transmitter. I then use a microphone plugged into my controller to talk. This setup does not work for Game chat. It's "Rube Goldberg" setup.

Now that more and more people are using game chat for cross platform playing and/or Discord, I'm finding myself being isolated again.

I need a Bluetooth adapter that either works with the controller or plugs in directly to the xbox. There is no one that makes a Bluetooth headset dongle that plugs into a 3mm jack that transmits voice from a Bluetooth headset. The all have horrible built-in microphones that wok poorly.

    :)

i'm afraid that the dongle the only solution that you have that would include the ability to chat with other people.

My interim suggestion for you would be to get a decent audio receiver that includes Bluetooth so that at least you can hear game audio clearly. Conceivably then you could plug a headset into the controller jack and use that as your microphone

Does anyone know if the original Microsoft Bluetooth usb adapter will allow me to use my WIRED headset with my controller on pc?

You should just have to designate your audio input microphone as the headset in audio options

Bluetooth controllers cannot use headsets in chat, it only works if you use the official wireless adapter plugged into the controller

xbox wireless headset issues on pc

Oh no, I mean. Bluetooth 4.2, Bluetooth 5.0 etc.
Unfortunately Wireless Headset can be a bit tricky or not work as intended on PCs with a lower Bluetooth version.

I was checking a similar thread, it seems this issue is solved using the Xbox Wireless adapter or connecting directly the headset via USB, on PC the wireless headset have some issues when you want to use sound and microphone at the same time

    Microphone for Xbox one

You would need a CTIA adapter that splits the controller plug into a headset component and the Microphone component. Something

    like this
    for example.

Then plug any stand up mic of your choice into the 3.5mm microphone plug.

If you want a professional microphone with XLR plug, you would need an
    XLR to 3.5mm adapter
    .

A good audio microphone with 3.5mm jack would be the
    Rode Video Mic Pro
    .

Just be aware that USB microphones do NOT work on the Xbox One.

Mac OS Driver for Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect Xbox Wireless Headset

I use a Macbook Pro 16 with Intel Hardware. The problem is, that the Bitrate for Bluetooth is not enough. You have 16 Bit for recieve and send data. The Sounds are terrible, when you use both channels. The Xbox Wireless Adapter can use a higher bandwith and you have clear sound and voice. That is the difference between bluetooth and the xbox wireless adapter. I have the problem with all Bluetooth headsets. The Bluetooth standard is not intended for listening and speaking. That's why other manufacturs use an usb-adapter to connect Headsets with the mac or other systems like Linux or Windows. The basic idea was, to use the xbox wireless headset for phone calls over a VOIP Software on Mac. Now I need two different wireless headsets.
