To get a refund on the purchase you would need to contact support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
Contact Us | Xbox Support

When you confirm a purchase, it will charge whatever payment option you have chosen. So you have to make sure your account balance is selected before confirming the purchase.

Movie and TV Series Purchases recognised by MyRewards

Hi There

I've read that Xbox Store purchases of lots of items including Movies and TV Series are recognised / included in MyRewards.

If I go to the Xbox store online it now takes me to the generic Microsoft Store.

Can you please confirm that if my Live ID / Microsoft Account is associated with my GamerTag that any purchases of movies of TV series via a browser going to the store are still recognised on MyRewards or do I physically need to purchase from the Xbox console?

And, just to confirm, TV series and movies purchased are recognised under MyRewards?

Request a Digital Goods Refund, fill out the form to take care of this issue! For the info on movies go to the movies, go to the store app on the console and check out the Movies page! Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any

Hi there whiskeywild! All movies are available in SD. You should be able to change this option from HD to SD before confirming the purchase, by selecting "More Options." Are you not seeing this option?

I can confirm that your purchases will be tracked as long you use the Microsoft Account you would like the purchases to be associated with. Movie and TV purchases are eligible for Rewards, and are sometimes even part of special offers, which can be located
on your MyMissions page. However, please note that purchases from Microsoft.com are eligible for Rewards, but purchases from MicrosoftStore.com are from a different storefront and movie purchases from there will not be tracked.

I found a solution

1. log in to your xbox account on xbox.com

2. search for fable 3

3. you click on purchase and when the screen pops up to confirm purchase choose (half way on the right side) "use microsoft points" and click ok

4. confirm the purchase and there you go

ps. you can do this from your console too just choose points instead of card
